Nurturing a Passion for Gardening

This started out of an idea to nuture and sell plants for the local village fair to enable being outside and helping with mental health during COVID. Being able to grow plants enabled to have time away from the home office, as not furloughed.

Time went on, the sales at the fair grew and in 2025, as my employer beleived that AI was the way forward, it allowed me to exit their business and launch into my own full time. So being able to source, nuture and ultimately sell on my plants. It allowed to expend the range and time spent working outdoors, so further improving my mental health - although losing a few plants can lead to some frustrations, but enabling others to acquire plants, both staples and new varieties, is greatly rewarding.

we have been able to expand into more growing space, for sale plants and our grow your own veg plot, so even increasing our intake of locally grown items and reducing our carbon footprint further.

We do appreciate the environment we are blessed. With one eye on the plant and sustainability and one eye on cost reduction, we have launched a 'Plant Pot Amnesty', for anyone to donate usable pots to us. we will spend the time cleaning them (claerly would prefer pre-washed ones!) and use them to grow on plants and effectively reuse pots - which a large source of teh carbon footprint of the horticultural (garden) industry.
